how did Calvin even bring a life-size snowman into the house and put a snowman in the bathtub? very quietly and carefully that’s how!

She knew it wasn’t Calvin, because there’s no mess on the floor.

And there was no lingering stench!!!

That kid will do anything to avoid taking a bath.

How did he do it, that they look so much alike =)

He is going to come out slushy-clean.

He got the hair right.

Ah well, all solutions are temporary in the long run.

I remember one strip from years ago where Calvin declared he wasn’t going to bathe anymore. His mom asked him how he planned on staying clean and in the last panel he’s standing proudly with a vacuum cleaner…Always thought that rotating brush would hurt, especially on um…tender bits.

Moms don’t mind when a kid tries these inventive but fun attempts to escape a chore. But, unfortunately, Cal doesn’t always do things that are just ‘inventive.’ Sometimes he’s downright destructive.

Calvin uses more energy to be devious than the task itself! ☺️

We lived in an apartment once where the room with the bathtub was right off the kitchen.

Cal-goon, take me away… nope, that’s not going to work.

Calvin must have a bunch of those shirts.

Calvin loves splashing into the lake on his bike or sled and splashing in puddles. I guess he just can’t stand water that’s clean.

That snowman shouldn’t last more than a minute or two in a warm bath.

Now that is dedication to not taking a bath

How did he get it in the house and in the water without it melting or his parents noticing.

He would have gotten away with it if not for the stick arms and carrot nose.

When you go to that much trouble to not take a bath, you should just take the both.
