He just got in under the 24 hour limit for drinking before flying. Or is it 48 hours? 12 hours? 8 hours? 4 hours? Anyway, I’m sure he just made it. Wouldn’t want to get caught breaking the FAA rules!!!
if he’s sampling a flight of drinks after he’s done piloting a flight, this might be okay. Then again, while he’s still in uniform at the airport, it’s not a good look (not a good example to set).
Fun story about a flight (of beer). When our son turned 21, he surprised us by inviting us to go out with him for his first (legal) drink. He ordered a flight since we were buying. After the second of those small glasses, he said, “Here, Dad, why don’t you have some. Have as much as you want.” I finished the flight. He’s just never been much of a drinker.
