What’s happening to Hawthorne’s backside? He used to wear a tin can, then it was always bare buns. Now it seems to be feathers.

I never learned how to play chess. I don’t think Hawthorne has either.

If you understand them, then yes.

Technically speaking, they are technically technical, depending on your technicality technique.

I memorized a trap and used it against my uncle. He refused to play me again. I was not a great chess player, but it is not hard to memorize a quick trap. I think I saw that trap in the Guinness Book of World Records for fastest game against a grand master.

If you’re going to learn how to play chess, you should learn how to set the board up. White squares in the right-hand corners.

Never knew that. Queen goes on her own color; that’s as far as I got. I play all chess on my phone these days even though I have a beautiful Staunton chess set.

The R-R4 opening is bad, but playing three moves before your opponent plays one definitely has potential!

I’m guessing that Hawthorne also doesn’t know anything about Chess since he didn’t refer to the pieces by their proper names.

If you can win without knowing the proper names, who cares?

When I was younger, I used to put the king on the back of the knight and pretend it was the Lone Ranger. When I made it to my 30s, I finally stopped.
