Too bad American lawmakers have put themselves above the law, no leading by example is there.

His chickens have come home to roost.

He got a knife (OMG)

He wasn’t chicken.

That made him a Republican hero.

Whatever he’s playing, it’s not with a full deck.

I think after losing the 3rd round with the writing on the wall he would have turned Independent and walked out giving the finger to the gang of 20 !

There are no Repubs looking for things for their constituents… they are only about personal gain.

Qevin is quite chicken. He’s been feathering his nest for quite a while.

Margarine Traitor-Greed is trying to look like she’s taking the high road by claiming she’s on no committees, and isn’t asking to be.

Just need ten Republicans who want our country to move forward to vote for Jeffries.

As if the omnibus 1.7 trillion mess has no pork…

The funniest thing about this is McCarthy moving into the speaker office, before the first vote.

Nothing in the Constitution says that the Speaker of the House must be a member of Congress. I nominate Oprah; she’ll yank a knot in those maroons …

Greene and Boebert have been on opposing sides during Representative Kevin McCarthy’s failed bids to become House speaker.

Greene has steadfastly supported the California Republican, while Boebert has voted against him on each of the six ballots cast thus far.

Trump, meanwhile, has endorsed McCarthy for the position and has also posted multiple statements on his Truth Social platform that encouraged Republican lawmakers to back McCarthy.

Boebert has rejected Trump’s calls, though, and said on the House floor Wednesday that the former leader should encourage McCarthy to drop his bid.

“Let’s stop with the campaign smears and tactics to get people to turn against us—even having my favorite president [Donald Trump] call us and tell us we need to knock this off,” Boebert said.

She continued, “I think it actually needs to be reversed. The president needs to tell Kevin McCarthy that ‘sir, you do not have the votes and it’s time to withdraw.’”

Audible gasps could be heard from House members as a response to Boebert’s remarks.

Try to tell a chicken to give up corn now because it will get all the corn it wants in heaven.

Rep. Katherine Clark (D-MA) took the floor to nominate Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) for the eighth time on the House floor to be the Speaker. This time, however, the Democrat nominating him took the opportunity to rebuke the Republican Party. “The historic dysfunction that we are seeing, in the intra-party fight, that the American people have been drawn into, is imperiling our national security, it will imperil the ability of this government to deliver basic services,” Clark warned. “It is imperiling our jobs and our responsibility to serve our constituents.”

That’s the republican plan, to destroy the effectiveness of government.
