It’s a good thing Phoebe’s dad didn’t make up a fake answer like Calvin’s dad always does.

Yeah, as soon as I read the first panel, I didn’t need to scroll down to know Phoebe didn’t mean the states. ;)

Nerd trivia time. Demona from Gargoyles was originally named Dakota in the series original development as a comedy.

Also new Gargoyles material from Dynamite Comics.

Like that Fairly Odd Parents episode where Timmy Turner wished to always be right and when asked how many states there were he said 48 I think and then the school announced that both Dakotas merged into one big Dakota and then there were only 48 states.

Maybe Dana was thinking about that episode when she made this.

Ask her what’s trendy or what she’ll have for Dinner or for the answers to a test . Actually lots of things you can do with your self from time. Not that much older though so its not that far in to the future.

If you take the two answers and flip them it still works.

I don’t think this is going to resolve itself. It looks to me like they are trapped in an infinite ‘Guh’ loop!

One Dakota was bad enough, now there are two? Only for four minutes I guess!

I…admit that I forgot about the states. I was really concerned about Ethan explaining duplication magic. I may just be sleep deprived.

If the two Dakotas merged, the new state would have an area smaller than Montana and a population smaller than Rhode Island.

Meeting ones self in a time travel paradox could be mind-bending, maybe even a source of important information – or the two could just be unimpressed with each other.

Yet, here in South Dakota there is a rivalry about East River vs West River, not so much North vs South.

I wonder what the story is behind the missing hat…

Be careful… if the Vortex of Meh is a thing, the Infinite Loop of Guh might be worse.

I am of the opinion that the Dakotas are not real states and should be converted into the world’s largest Laser Tag arena.

Are the Dakota’s “guh-ing” at each other or at the situation?

I think the Dakota on the left belong to this time.
