Yup and the plow just went by and left a five foot high drift at the bottom on the driveway. Waiting for my snow removal service to come by so I can go to work.
I think the year was 1953 on the ranch I grew up on. One morning after a snow storm, they rang the bell for breakfast at the cook house. After ringing the bell several times and no one showing up; they found that the six men in the bunkhouse were snowed in with the snow drifted over the roof. My granddad and one more man started digging down to the door while the men inside were using a mop bucket to dig the snow at the door and putting it in the shower. They finally got out in time for lunch.

If they have fuel & food they don’t have to dig it out right away. The snow would actually keep alot of the cold out.

How did they get the snow to stop right there? It usually looks like that AFTER YOU OPEN THE DOOR. But they don’t HAVE doors. (?)

This happened to a cousin in Colorado once. He opened his garage door and found a wall of snow. He didn’t go anywhere that day.

They live together? No wonder there are no little cavekids running around. I guess we’re descendants of the people on the other side of the ocean.

Snow would drift into the cave. Only a door would make it pile up like that. No door in the pic…..
