It doesn’t matter whether our cat has already been fed. Open a tuna can and he’ll be all over you in an instant. We only let him lick the juice after we’ve used the tuna ourselves.

My can NEVER lets me forget feeding time. Never.

I love the videos of kittens climbing the human about to feed them.

We once had a cat that loved whipped cream. He learned to recognize the sound of the can when it dispensed the stuff. We had to turn up the stereo loud to drown out the sound of the can, otherwise he’d come running.

And Fleshy has the shakes.

Cats don’t tend to let you forget to feed them

We had a cat that went nuts for the can opener even though she never had any canned food. Must be instinct.

Heck, I act like that even when I didn’t miss breakfast.

As always, Fleshy gets a rec!

Generally not good for the local bird population to let your cat run around freely outside.

One of the things that Fleshy demands is that his owner feeds him and does it well.(He didn’t travel back 50 million years to not get that treatment!)

Fleshy’s acute hearing is matched only by his sprint speed! It’s can-opening and feeding time!

And shame on you, Monty, for failing to feed Fleshy earlier….

My cat is both obsessed with and repulsed by the smell of dairy. She’ll hear me cooking my dinner from 2 rooms away when pick up a stick of butter – the crinkle of the wrapper. So I have to put some butter on my finger so she can smell it – then she gags. Then she may or may not lick some off my finger. I’m pretty sure I spoil her but it’s pretty funny anyway.
