That’s just mean. If someone wants to start a friendly habit of hugging people, they should be able to do it no matter when they started. Even if someone isn’t comfortable with that, you can ask people first to ease them into things. Even if they don’t, sure, that’s awkward, and you can tell them not to, but it doesn’t mean they’re a “creep”.

If I walked up and hugged a girl a school they’d probably say stop or please don’t do that again but they wouldn’t be so mean about it! P.S 38 is one of those stereotypical public schools that just don’t really exist in real life. Funny strip though.
