I’m going to guess that Japan’s abundance of seasoned citizens is attributable to relatively clean air and water, regular moderate exercise, a good diet high in fatty fish and seaweed – “The Mediterranean Diet” Japanese style if you will – and maybe some really great genes.

The late Jeanne Calment of France still holds the record for longest lived person, aged 122 (1875-1997). Nobody else has broken the age 120 barrier yet.

Should not all rocks everywhere be the same age? Considering that the last aliens to visit did not bring any new rocks with them.

I’m not a geologist by any means, but wouldn’t most of the rocks on earth be the same age (allowing for meteors, lava ,etc)?

Googled “Japan population over 65”. It says 29.1%. They age real fast.
