Is that really an insult?

Calvin should really be studied.

Original sin isn’t a concept of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Nature plays a roll. And it’s a 99 sided dice.

Gracious! Without us all being born with original sin, there’d be no need for Jesus with his Forgiveness of Sin. Now wouldn’t that be sad…

What is Calvin’s definition of a sin

It was always original sin.

“Sin” is learnt, you are not born with it and quite frankly, the list of “sins” is so long it’s ridiculous

Interesting that Calvin, who was named after a theologian, and Hobbes, who was named after a philosopher, are having a conversation about original sin.

Which is why you shouldn’t discuss things with animals?

So Calvin is a Calvinist.

Babies are are a joy, as long as the parents feed, nurture and love them! ☺️❤️

Having children changes your perspective on a lot of things.

Young children are narcissistic sociopaths. As they learn and love, most grow out of it. The small percentage who don’t end up in conflict with family, friends, society and the law.

If they are poor, they go to Rikers Island. If they are rich, they end up in positions of power like CEOs, Wall Street manipulators or US Senator. Maybe even President?

Hobbs might be onto something. In the Bible, you don’t have to read Genesis for a long time to get to the part where Adam and Eve screw up.

Organized religion could have gone either way with the issue. If you believe that the Bible is divinely inspired then, literally, God only knows.

So much for theology.

Heard a lady complain about the fact that her husband and men in general were first to sign a contracts and other legal documents. I suggested that, as Adam was first male and truly screwed up, so from then on males got first chance to see if they screwed up. According to many females the record still holds.

“Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—” Romans 5:12

LOL… they learn from their parents.

Little brains are designed to adapt to their surroundings. Garbage in – Garbage out

Morality is not innate. It must be learned by observation.

With all the years of human evolution behind us, I’d say the era of “quick studies” is over with.

I don’t care what anyone says,, I like sin.

Why the delving into religion on a comic strip?

I imagine like many things people are born neutral. We learn to be good or bad by the environment we grow in.

Walt Whitman’s poem, “I think I could turn and live with animals” is worth a read at a time like this.

Uh, oh. Calvin just got hit with religion.

That’s what King David said. According to the history of Israel, I think he would know.

No, Hobbes just seems to know human nature better.

From a Christian theological concept, we are fallen since Adam and Eve got evicted. So we should all be tainted by sin regardless of age.

The concept of original sin is the sickest and most evil thing humans have invented that exists on the earth today.

I don’t seek the opinion of tigers on theological matters…
