The old washing machine, turned my white socks green…or was it my feet?

Too true.

No rest for the liquored.

Yesterday? Sounds like the whole week to me.

We try to keep Sunday as a day of rest.

For many it’s Saturday as Holy day, for many it’s Sunday, for many it’s Friday, for some it’s Monday and for most it’s no day.

My wife is clergy: Sunday is NOT a day of rest for her.

Maybd Aunty needs to start some real wining !

Either my fairly new washer or my 19-year-old dryer is leaving orangey streaks on only one item per load. So far cotton items only. The last load was a brand new pair of slacks that are khaki colored – they look awful. I might wear them anyway since I have them for dog therapy days, and they get all messed up anyway. I don’t yet know if the streaks will wash out. I am nervous about ruining some items I like. I love the dryer, even if it’s old. I don’t see any signs of rust or anything. I am going to wipe the insides of both with a damp white cloth and see if I can find out anything. This is annoying. I always put a bit of ammonia for washer loads as it keeps the clothes cleaner and also the washer. I am familiar with black streaks but not this color. Anyone? No items in the laundry loads were new or anywhere near the color of the streaks.

The rest of the cooking and baking: lasagna, apple pie and shepherd’s pie. I made meatloaves yesterday.

I don’t think Sunday is exactly how God planned it…

That is what happens Aunty when you don’t just put things off until tomorrow, but put them off until the day after tomorrow.

Sabbath is the day of rest, according to the Bible. Sunday is the 1st day of the week.

You got to procrastinate better.

Isn’t that what husbands are for?

That looks like my laundry pile that I have to go do, right now!!
