The word “lend” from Andy is beyond meaningless!!

He’ll never pay it back.

I’d keep the 20 and go to the pub without him.

I saw “Lend Me A Tenor” once but Andy wasn’t in it.

Well I was planning on paying back the Tenner.

Will the walk to the Pub go by the bookies betting house?

A British twenty pound note would be a shade of blue rather than green. I remember the one pound notes that finished about forty years ago. They used to be green.

With the ridiculously high prices for beer and mixed drinks in the U.K. now, that £20 isn’t going to stretch too far for two people in the pub – even though Hartlepool, reputedly, has some of the cheapest prices for beer in the country!

Flo needs recreation too. But not as badly as Andy.

I agree with Andy. Inflation is wicked.

Inflation is still higher here in Britain although it goes down a bit nowadays!!!

I guess he’s run Chalkie out of money already.

I read somewhere that Lemmy Kilmister got the nickname from borrowing money all the time, “Lemmy a couple of quid until Friday.”

Yeah, but his inflation rate is spot on! LOL :)

Went to the Dollar store last week – Everything cost $1.25

I notice Andy’s subtle little smile in the second panel. Inflation isn’t the only thing here that’s wicked.

How is it that if Andy is using Flo’s money, it means he is taking her to the pub?
