First lesson for the newly married …… If she every asks you “Does this make me look fat?”, always remember that NOTHING makes her look fat….ever. You can thank me later.

In my household it may have been the wife to make that statement. She loves her some Hank Mobley. Don’t have the vinyls, but certainly most if not all of his work that is now out on CDs.

What about Joe’s lost money and phone? Is Mortimer chasing that down offscreen?

Way to say that in front of your new wife.

I can understand Marcus’ excitement, the vinyl is from his father & step-mother’s collection that they gifted to Joe & Marcy. It is a precious heirloom to him.

I have a great Hank Mobley album “Dippin.” The cut entitled “Ballin” is my all time favorite jazz piece – with time signatures jumping from 2 or 4 to 3. I met pianist Harold Maburn just before he passed away.

Whoops! (smh)

I think he should find better words to say that.
