Apple Computers featured an Isaac Newton-shaped marking? What a coincidence! Isaac Newton featured an apple-shaped marking.

Speaking of the Oregon Trail in the mid 1840’s, too bad the Donner Party strayed too far from it, and without being correctly informed about where alternative routes to the West were located.

I believe there were one or two Australian cattle or sheep dogs that lived into the late 20s.

Web pages in 1999 were pretty simple and dull graphics wise.

Fun fact about the current Apple logo: it shows a bite has been taken out of it. The reason for this was explained by the designer: the bite gives you the size. Without the bite, people, unsure of the size, might think that the logo was of a cherry, instead of an apple.

We’ll call it, “Salem,” after all the great work done in Salem, Messychewshsuts and even them new fangled cigarettes in the future as the Good Book and Reverend McGillicuddy prophesizes. ~ Asa Fopp, Conestoga Driver and Great Seer of the plains and mountains alike

Wow- what I wouldn’t have given to have some of my past dogs (including the current one) live for 30 years! 10-12 years is killing me!

In some parts of the Oregon Trail there is only one rut. That’s the moment that Jesus took the wheel.

Speaking of ruts: I was banned from riding my bicycle in the street for a month at age 5, so I rode around the back yard and around the house nearly every day until my “grounding” was up. Thirty years later, when my parents put that house up for sale, I went there to clean and prepare it, and my racetrack ruts were still visible in the back yard.

One of the many joys of being a flight medic in New Mexico was spotting old wagon wheel ruts along the old Santa Fe trail whenever the state had a particular wet and green spring. They were particularly visible on either side of the old forts that are mostly gone now, but that still provide landmarks for the trail.
