Love the one-eyed gull pic! It’s a nice concept, that Seagull has a generational relationship with the family. And our current Seagull’s expression in the last panel—wow.
Beautiful images today. The carefully composed coloration and the depicted “solidity” of objects (enhanced by the moving “camera” angles) gives these things a feel of the substantial not often encountered in such (deceptively) simple comic strip art. Plus, the abrupt change in POV in the last panel injects a jolt of funny into today’s… um… funny papers.
On the plus side, at least he got a fraction of a second to brace for it. I’ve been awakened by my bellybutton striking my spinal cord in that situation.

The blank eyed stare on whatever that is is scary. Do you all suppose there was some sort of Alien human encounter? That would explain a lot l

How can there not be some rib damage? Or sudden awareness of a sensitive region?

You know, I think I did do that to my dad once in my youth. His revenge was swift, though.
