It is a bit of a compliment to her mother that she thinks she could correct the “typos” off the top of her head.
ChatGPT is basically the same thing. Writes garbage and then a human has to edit to actually get any accuracy.

It actually is a nice try. It was never going to work, but it was still a clever idea.
I do like Hemingway but A Farewell to Arms is a book I just couldn’t get into. I could tell I was in for an incredibly tedious slog and gave up after a few pages.
