Hmm, what happens to his food?
He’s the original Goldeneye?
another from the “Sunday off” series…
Using toilet paper must be a pain too
I’m getting more orangy-brown than gold. To me it looks like he’s seeing Garfield up close.
A bit more creative than using a white panel with the caption “A polar bear lost in a blizzard.”
Gee Scott, you could have faxed this panel in!!!!
And they say every cloud has a “silver lining”…well, not that I “see” that for Midas…
He just wanted an upgrade from rose colored glasses.
Does Midas still fix mufflers?
Good writing makes a comic.
King Midas as body horror. There’s a Blumhouse film here somewhere
King Midas: The original Auric Goldfinger.
He’s got that Midas touch…
It seems to me that he would just see black because gold would block all of the light.
No light would get through… should just be a black square.
I bet a lot of people threw stones at him and then picked them up again.
If his vision is worsening, he Midas well try something.
Very clever! Gold star for best of the day!
Are gold colored glasses better than rose colored glasses?
Hmm. Apart from doing a polar bear in a snow storm, what comic requires the last amount of effort?
King Midas must be wearing his clothes that make him invisible…
The visors on astronauts’ helmets have a thin layer of gold to block the sun. However, gold plated eyes might be unsettled
LOL Took me a minute.
With them off … only flour.
That’s as close to gold as I’ll ever see…
Phoning it in today Scott?
So Midas sees a big tan rectangle? Me don’ get it, mon.
Yup, it’s almost impossible to render “gold” as a single color. Clearly this is, well, close. As in “neighboring planet” close.
I thot that the cartoonists just did the outlines and left the coloring to the colorists. Presumably there are some additional instructions with some of them.
That took me a minute.
