So the story arc is about family time, for a few days. Speaking of family, is Meemaw dead yet? On September 7 she told us she had 6 months left to live, so this is her last month in the strip (unless she’s already gone).

Wonder if the gray car passing Gil has something to do with the next story arc?

VROOOMMM! Gotta be Lukey in the fast lane, racing Gil in his mental giant cranium. A crash and GilPa performs life saving first aid on Senior and Junior until the ambulance arrives. Frannie performs brain surgery on BHHL and with a few upgrades, Lukey loses his passion for coaching and the obsession of GT to produce musicals.

My favorite thing about this comic is the completely gratuitous “VROOOOMMM.”

SPOILER ALERT: Mr. Reality is out for his daily jog on that same stretch of highway. (You’re welcome, Mop)

P3… If they can survive that forest fire that Gil is driving directly into.

In P2, Henry is once again paying homage to the commenters and our obsession with the Thorp kids being missing. You gotta love how he plays off of our schtick.

You know Gil is being dramatic and deep when we get the up nostril shot. And speaking of dramatic and deep, Mopped Up Thorp is neither, as usual.

A story arc. Is the construction of plot in a novel or story. It can also mean an extended or continuing storyline. In storytelling media such as television, comic books, comic strips, video games, and films. With each episode following a dramatic arc.
