Well, they don’t simply mix all blood together. It is kept by type. And perhaps someone on board has a need for blood type H₂SO₄

Perhaps there needs to be a better screening process for donors and blood drive workers. [Or is this just a “dress code” (or costume or uniform) problem.]

If you are a qualified blood donor, do so. If you have the time, (an hour or so) consider donating double red cells, that’s what they need the most. Especially if you’re O Negative, you’re a universal donor. But we can only receive O Negative. Good karma.
