Growing old is mandatory, growing up is strictly optional…

Not growing up can be difficult as you grow older – especially when others seem to expect things of you.

My Lady Wife once bought me a tee shirt printed w/ “I may get older but I’ll NEVER grow up!” She also bought me another printed w/ “I may not always be right but I’m NEVER wrong!”

Nobody truly acts their age.

If you can afford it, born into money helps, a lot !!!

There will always be some stick in the mud that will try to discourage you from having fun. I just ignore them. Now that I am recently retired and doing a wider variety of activities I get to ignore even more people telling me I’m too old to be doing whatever.
