I’m surprised that no one has explained to Dean that boys’ growth spurt comes later than girls’, Mostly the narrative has been don’t have a cow about being short. Of course I may not be properly sympathetic because I’m above average in height.

Well, I guess we all know who the Labor Relations Board is going to be investigating.

At my tallest, I was just over 5’ 9". Now, I’m under 5’ 8". The Boy is 6’ tall.

This might be the strips best punchline ever. I will also give steenz credit as she finally fixed Dean’s dad’s design, both rounding out his face more and giving him glasses. It’s a small adjustment but it helps him look way less like that episode of rugrats where Tommy and Chucky became adults.

Chill, Dean! There are a whole lotta actors out there, who are “short” & are still well-loved & idolized. You will be fine.

You can get a job at fourteen in PA? Could have used that in OK when my stepdad took off. Had my first job at a hamburger stand at 15.

I’m so short that when I stand up my feet barely reach the floor.

Startin’ work at 14 !!! That ain’t the way I recall it … I had my few odd labors, workin’ for different folk, but it was off the books, and never really amounted to any real money ,,, Kinda like the way things are now, and the 401K I got to look forward to … ;)

There comes a time when vertical growth gives way to horizontal growth.
