I was in Walmart the other day and they had some plant based jerky marked way down in price. I don’t know how it tasted, but it really looked gross to me. I guess it was marked down because others thought the same thing. For all I know it might taste really good, but I just couldn’t get over the way it looked. I didn’t buy any.
Hey, the Soylent Company is a real thing now and with biodiversity rapidly diminishing we might as well start getting used to it. That is, of course if we can’t get our act together and start helping to fix all of the environmental problems we’ve created for ourselves. I just hope I’m already gone by the time Soylent Green lands on our tables.

Eno’s right. I once ate a tofu burger.

Plant based substitutes for meats tend to be made up of ultra-high processed foods. You’re better off eating the real stuff.

Those products were super-hot 2 years ago. Now, the sales have slipped, and the companies are barely hanging on.

We’ve always had plant-based meats. Animals eat the plants, and we eat the animals.

There a simple solution to plant based products, it’s called avoidance.
