My nephew, now an adult, used to go to the sink, turn the tap on, wait for a few seconds, turn it off, turn around to find one of us behind him. “Nice try, now wash your hands.” Never stopped him trying……

But Mom, it’s medicated Rover drool!

Eew! Oh well, they’re both youngins!

On the other HAND, Red probably the best immune system, ha!

My extended family includes doctors and dentists. All of us have always had dogs! We’re all pretty darn healthy, so there’s something to be said about kids growing up with dogs develop stronger immune systems.

Dogs only lick your hands after eat certain finger foods like Pizza….

This is adorable, but when I play tug with my dogs I wear gardening gloves. Lately the feel of dog drool on my hands is uncomfortable and it makes the toys slippery and hard to hold. Needless to say, there is great excitement when I put on those gloves.

To use a word from the ‘60s, dog drool all over is ’grody’.

I’ve seen plastic grabbing and throwing sticks in the store. They say you can throw the ball “without slobber,” and they repeat the phrase in French (“sans slobbre,” or something like that).
