They should have gone out and collected some stones and put them in the freezer.

Is it a Southern thing to wear your slippers in the mud? Did A&J move into a trailer?

Once when I was living in a mobile home, the hail sounded like watermelons hitting the roof. It scared my dog too!

Tennis ball size in Apr of 2017 – took out our travel trailer – holes in the roof… The house with hail resistant shingles had no issues – now if I can figure out how to hail proof my travel trailer…

Don’t worry, Janis. I think pickle ball is some sort of social disease. No worries…

Balls must be made of a durable molded material with a smooth surface and must have between 26 and 40 evenly spaced circular holes. They must weigh between .78 and .935 ounces (22.1 and 26.5 g) and measure between 2.87 and 2.97 inches (73 and 75 mm) in diameter. (Wiki)

While stationed in Italy, we had to have a net over the parking lot, because the hail would severely damage vehicles. That definitely was not something I would have wanted to be caught in!

Hello all my dear friends, I just wanted to say I am glad to be back here on GC with you all. I was in the hospital over the weekend then spend the last couple of days at home sleeping because I couldn’t sleep in hospital. I was having real bad issues Friday morning with not being able to catch my breath and my heart rate was going into low 40’s-mid 30’s and had 2 bad episodes where my vision got blurry then everything went black for a couple of seconds then heart rate went low again. Dad ended up calling ambulance for me because I knew that none of this was good nor normal and that something serious was going on. Well in ER they did all the cardaic testing and numerous labs and at first everything heart wise showed up ok and all labs came up with was that I was very dehyrated and magenuism was low so they gave me magnesuim drip and a full back of fluids and I was starting to feel better and I asked to get up and go to restroom so I did, restroom was right in ER treatment room, but within a couple of minutes getting back in bed I had another episode with vision and hard time breathign and there was a nurse in room when it occured and noticed heart rate went very low again. They moved me to a trauma room and did continual EKG and got in contact with hospital about 20 minutes away with has a cardiac department, our local hospital doesn’t, so they transferred me by ambulance and they did more heart checks and a Echocardiagram and what it turned out was that my one blood pressure med that I have been on for at least 25 years was interacting with other blood pressure med and a med that I take to keep my kidneys proteced from problems with having Diabetes !!, so they stopped the med permentely from me and they kept me for another day to make sure no more problems happened and discussed what they would have to do if it happened again, giving me a pace maker, but once the med that was causing all the problems was completely out of my system things got back to normal.
