Remember this whole arc started off one question, “why don’t people like me?” Anyway the strip is just more filler, another strip of Nate thinking he has no ego C tier

I swear, you could swap Dee Dee with Francis in this comic, and it would play out as the same.

I think this could possibly go somewhere. As a male, I know he probably has a big ego but that has nothing to with it being weird if she says no. That is every guys fear, because if you are friends or have a lot of classes together in school or often are working together, it is just so awkward, and it feels like you are pressured to somehow un-say-you-like-them. I think this strip actually has some realism to it.

6/10 it has some realism and I can relate, but it is filler and it’s dragging on too long. Like, pierce, if they are eventually gonna be “dating” then speed it up a bit.

Male ego? Like women can handle rejection? “Hell hath no fury….” isn’t about the male ego.

Nate’s ego is so big it transcends any gender, age, or personality.

This seems way more serious than any of Nate’s previous crushes. I don’t remember times when he was afraid of being hurt or to looking like a fool in front of a girl. Daphne must have deeply impressed him.

As a male, I know that we don’t have any egos! Our ability to be humble is legendary! Better than all your humblenesses! We are the Greatest!

So now Nate’s complaining about how legendary he is because he has no ego? What a way to put your lack of an ego into words.

This comment section will never be satisfied. Either they complain about a storyline being wasted or they complain about it going on for too long. Mr. Peirce is in a lose-lose scanerio here.

Why is everyone always saying bad stuff about the comic. There’s a difference between constructive criticism and then just criticizing the comic because you didn’t think it was good enough. I doubt any of y’all can make a comic half as good as this. If you don’t like it then stop reading the strip. Nobody wants you here stinking up the comment section. Sure even if it is just filler appreciate the strip and the fact he puts even an ounce of effort into it instead of just copy pasting the scenes with different words like many comics these days. Enjoy what you have now before it all goes away

Worst one in a while. I would actually rate it 1/10. Reasoning? Nate’s friends USED to be supportive when it mattered (see Blasts Off when it comes to Ruby). Teasing is teasing, but male ego? For what? Being shy? Being worried? Who wouldn’t?! Pierce ruining one of my fave characters and dynamics, sigh.

1/10, this one just sucks, period.

Today’s my sister’s birthday, and we’re starting the week off with romance?! A+
