I use Consumer Cellular. I don’t like it when they changed their policy… if you “go over” your monthly allotment, you are automatically bumped up to the next higher tier… you have to manually switch back to the lower tier.
Nearly all plans are unlimited except for data, and there the providers slow you down as you approach the limit. Also no more roaming charges. Thanks you FCC.
My company pays for my cell service and I get discount through my company on the Mrs account. Since the 8 YO started using the Mrs phone all the time I got one for him, get the same discount for him as well. All have unlimited data and calling. We use Viber for international calls.
When we started dating, my wife used up all of her out of area minutes rather quickly. She got me a cellphone on her plan, after verifying there was a good signal at my house. It was about four miles north of nowhere.
This Plugger says: I don’t know why EVERYONE doesn’t have unlimited phone plans these days! I get unlimited talk (which I hardly ever use; I HATE talking on the phone!) & text (which I use constantly) & more data than I can use for under $30/month with Tracfone, & there are tons of other inexpensive plans like that. The only downside is that you have to buy your phone up front, but they have good deals on those too; I got my current midrange Samsung 5G for about half off list price. YMMV; AWYSB…

No one should have to pay a premium for being over-age . That’s ageist and implies that seniors aren’t like other …. what? Oh, never mind. :)

Had an US Mobile Account last year-$7 total – something like 50 minutes/25 text/no data.
