Fun(?) fact that most people forget (or don’t know): It’s against the rules of baseball/softball to use anything other than your hand/body or glove (on your hand) to catch a ball. You can’t toss your glove in the air to catch a ball (a la Bugs Bunny in “Baseball Bugs”), use your cap to catch a ball (a la Madonna’s character in "A League of Their Own), or shoot a spider web at one (like this guy- who, at least in the comics, could easily jump high enough to just catch the thing, but that wouldn’t be as humorous).Yes, I am a pedant.
