Money can’t buy happiness ….but it helps.

Born Losers feels the same way until they make a lot of money. Rich folks do not complain about having too much money. Ha!

I see Gladys is contributing to the household’s finances by adding her two cents

But it can rent a lot of affection

You can’t even rent it on your budget.

The trouble with that is, you have to return it in the condition you got it.

Who cares about happiness? what about food? :D

People with money say that. Otherwise, they’d want to make things more equal.

People without money believe that.

I’ve been poor and I’ve been rich. Rich is better!

Yeah but money can buy food and by the looks of the wife she doesn’t look like she is starving to death doing without that money.

Being poor ain’t all it’s cracked up to be either.

even mom dreads doing the bills, it used to be dads, but he’s not here anymore.. at least mom is better to hang around when she does it, dad sighs and groans a lot even after he’s done working on it.

Poor Brutus, his money doesn’t slow up when it gets to him. It just waives as it passes him by.

Money may not be able to buy happiness, but the lack of it can make for lots of unhappiness. Just try living in a house with no electricity, or phone service. An old flame of mine is going around hitting others up for money to pay her power bill. So far, she’ll have the rent paid. Now she’s hitting the charities about, including me.

The stack includes the Payment Notice for yesterday’s loan, which Brutus was going to use to pay the bills.

Always told the kids “Rich ain’t what you have, it’s what you are”.

Gladys, Anyone who says money can’t buy happiness, doesn’t know where to shop.

I hope Mama has a lot of money. She should be good for something. Maybe she can give Gladys some monthly funds so her daughter won’t have to work. What I have seen of mama, though, she might show up tomorrow and ask for money.

Brutus, when the outgo exceeds the income, there is only one thing you can do, charge it.

With what Veebs pays him it’s going to be a short term rental!

But Brutus, Gladys replies, “Leasing costs way more than just buying happiness outright”, Brutus replies “Maybe Veeblefester will loan us the money to buy happiness outright?”…

Brutus says to Gladys “we’re on the lowest fret of our budget, I’ve gotta consider fret”…

Very funny Chip, when you’re this tight there is really no place to go, you got it all tied up, bravo!…

While Gladys has the truly correct position, she’s probably the spendthrift that got the family into this predicament and l really envision no end to this terrible cycle…..

But it can rent for a short while.
