introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your

“Yesterday’s the past, tomorrow’s the future, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.” Bil Keane
“Time and tide wait for no man.” Geoffrey Chaucer
“The only reason for time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.” Albert Einstein
“How did it get so late so soon?
Its night before its afternoon.
December is here before its June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?" Dr. Seuss
“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages.” William Shakespeare
“Don’t worry about the world coming to an end today. It is already tomorrow in Australia.”Charles M. Schulz
Speaking of time, here’s a good one. “So, I think it’s very important, as you have heard from so many incredible leaders, for us at every moment in time — and certainly this one — to see the moment in time in which we exist and are present, and to be able to contextualize it, to understand where we exist in the history and in the moment as it relates not only to the past but the future.” Kamala Harris, Vice President of the United States of America, April 22, 2023.
The reason for 4 dimensions is so that everything doesn’t go wrong in the same place all at once. It is the suspected immediate precursor oops of the big bang.
Strangely this spring it is unusual cool and wet here. The rose bushes have much green and buds as well for 2 weeks now – but no flower yet. On the other hand the tulips stood in full bloom all the time and where very reluctant to die. Some are still left: loosing the vibrant colors already but still keeping the petals.
Like Arlo, I know lots of little bits and pieces of poems. And lots of whole poems, too! I’ve always loved poetry, and have a good memory. I learned The Highwayman" by heart from hearing my father recite it on long car trips to entertain us. I learned “Abou Ben Adam” from my mother the same way. Never saw either in print until after I learned it by heart.

“Your rosebuds are numbered,
Gather them now for rosebuds’ sake.
And if you hands aren’t too encumbered
Gather a bud or two for Jake."
