Ho! Ho! Huh?

Earl is just being smart Opal. Why take down Christmas lights when in just a few months put them back up again. Earl isn’t getting any younger you know.

Opal is the best wife. She can nag beyond the veil!

Mine either… but then, I never put them up.

Lots of people just unplug their lights and leave them hanging. Saves time with birthdays, anniversaries, and other holidays.

Why bother about the Christmas lights, electricity will be out for not paying the power company, cause of lack of creditcard.

You might have been talking to one of those overseas based call centers, if it’s not on their prepared list they are not helpful at all!

I love how Opal’s comments to Earl are so complimentary. NOT!! lol

I have projectors, easy to put in and out. I have white lights on a short fence that I have on all year. Why not?

So, if I’ve been dead for five months, I guess all those charges – and payments – were made in error. I demand a refund.

At their age, why bother to put up the lights? If their daughter or son-in-law doesn’t do it for them, I think the holiday can be handled without risking Earl falling off a ladder. I haven’t put up lights in at least 20 years and I have no regrets. I live inside, I can’t see the lights anyway unless I am walking my dog. Some people put electric candles in their windows from the inside. They look pretty.

She’s really ENJOYING this.

Hah! A doctor told me once that I died sometime back in the 1980s and all he was seeing was a flashback to some really good acid from the 1960s. But that’s okay. I outlived him. Hah! (/s)

Bring out your dead!

Will repeat my first comment. Companies that declare a customer dead without proof should reimburse the customer for every penny he/she spends trying to unknot that mess. Overcharges, late charges, replacement card costs, reconnection fees, etc. Totals amount required should cover all the costs plus an award to the customer for the time and effort.

Electronic devises are ruling…people have become lazy..

This happened to me…I have been going to the hospital for decades and one day I was being asked all kinds of personal info, that should have been in my records. What happen was I left out my middle initial and the computer deemed me a new patient. It took hours amd hours for them to fix it….unbelievable!

I fixed that problem….I don’t put them up.

They may have changed the rules but there was a time when the wife would immediately lose her credit, if he were flagged as dead.

He’s only MOSTLY dead.

That actually happened to my brother-in-law several years ago! SS had him listed as deceased & cut off his checks! He went thru a lot of crap to get it straightened out!!

Hey!! I put those lights up AFTER Christmas. I’m gonna see how long the solar charger works.

See! Proof positive! Credit card companies do send spies to your home, how else would they know the Christmas lights were not put away?…
