Except now, it’s going to be even harder to wake her up. I hope Marigold has a plan for that.

Could the Shield of Boringness be deadly if she could turn it up even higher?

Aw, Phoebe looks so sweet when she’s sleeping!

Sadly, I don’t think that will work on me. Even boring things keep me awake.

I think Marigold should have said, “I am so magnificent that when I am boring, I am magnificently boring.”

Careful. Some things are so boring they’re interesting.

Unicorns are good at everything.

Could have just given her a legal document to read. Maybe an insurance policy.

And that is how it works. It dulls the senses and turns the brain away not being interested in things it should be.

Speaking as a shameless egotist, I have to admit I find it greatly entertaining to watch Marigold take pride in even the most mundane accomplishments.
