Why? Is it going to be a long night?

Life is full. Another simple masterpiece from JJ.

This was so nice seeing Arlo comfort his wife. Shame she didn’t just stay put and enjoy it.

Does he really need a reason?

Coffee is stimulating but not quite the stimulation Arlo had in mind.

It was to start the engines, the coffee is the fuel to help.

That’s why he married her, so he could kiss her anytime he wanted

Have Gene and family just dropped off the face of the strip? Seems like they haven’t mentioned them in a very long time.

You’re right, I do enjoy seeing them in the strip.

Far too often males feel embarassed to show affection. Janis should be grateful that Arlo does. And a show of affection does not lways lead to intimacey. It does not need to. Those married for many years just need to know that they ARE still loved.

Boy is she a light sleeper. A little kiss on the hair woke her up? I could give my wife a hickey and she’d never stir.

Why did she have to ruin the moment?

I really don’t think Janis knows how lucky she that Arlo does the small things to show how much he cares for her. It either flies right over her head, or she doesn’t appreciate the gestures.

Cuddling causes different emotions…..

No reason; they were both comfortable snuggling.

About the only thing better than your spouse falling asleep in your arms is to have your baby falling asleep in your arms. It’s like; all is right with the world and in a very small way you get to make it “right” for someone you love.

It was too nice to stay.

Why is she mad in the last panel? And why does she need to make coffee? Another puzzler.

I’m sure the sign of affection was appreciated, but the morning coffee IS the morning coffee…..

Your answer should have been, “I love your smell and I love you.”

Wrong answer. “For you being you and being here” would have made coffee unnecessary.

A bed is much better than a car – especially when he has a Mercury Capri – my Mustang was better.
