I heard Kevin McCarthy is refusing to call for George Santos to resign, despite being indicted for money laundry. I don’t believe any Republicans in the House have, but it occured to me that if being indicted made a Republican ineligible for office, well… they’d have a big problem.

Maybe the would-be-philosopher can explain why indictments don’t matter.

I did not watch CNN’s town hall featuring Disaster Pumpkin, but a few preliminary reports of how it went indicate that the blowhard is blowing even harder than ever, and that CNN’s interviewer was obviously ill prepared to deal with it. Since it was pitched as an interview with a leading candidate for the Republican nomination, the audience was essentially all Republicans, and they rewarded his performance with a standing ovation at the end.

Go Comics has 90% of the 32% of Americans that believe Brandon is doing a good job. Joe is a clown and all of you who support him are too. It makes all of your thoughts on any subject very suspect, if you got Joe wrong what have you got right? NOTHING

@Ammosexual Say what you will about Joe Biden being a mediocre president with a low approval rating. The low approval rating is clearly a fact, and some people might even agree with you about the mediocre part, despite his abundant accomplishments in the face of a recalcitrant Congress. But (a) he’s not a convicted rapist, as noted above, and (b) he didn’t try to overthrow the US government.

So I commend to you the fundamental rule of analysis: Always ask “Compared to what?”.
