Starting a day without a good coffee is not a good morning.

I love a cup of hot tea sometimes on chilly nights with slice of chocolate cake. But it’s a glass of ice cold tea for me 99% of the time.

In case Brutus is in a bind, there are some Afternoon Teas out there that are quite satisfying .

I don’t have Britbox, but I’m currently watching a British show called Executive Stress. I haven’t seen them drink tea yet.

Drinking coffee or tea. What a topic for two men to discus who have only advanced technologically that they are drinking water out of what looks like a funnel shaped paper cup. (Is there no coffee machine in the office?)

Talk about grounds for divorce. I wouldn’t be surprised if Brutus just leaves. (Actually I would be, but just had to get both a coffee and tea reference in my comment. Brutus is a good guy.)

Double check the herbs going into your tea and If you die, make sure that they do a toxicology screening.

Bring a few edibles to replace the scones and have High Tea.

BTW since afternoon tea is at 4pm, does anyone notice that Brutus is leaving work early?

I prefer morning hot tea. In fact, that’s where I’m headed now. Have a nice day.

Poor Brutus, one of the few constant things of his life, the morning coffee routine, is now in upheaval. Brutus and I are alike in the fact we like our morning coffee.

I’ve tried several different teas, none nearly strong enough. I do like the Brit tv shows though, much better quality than ours.

I love the smell and taste of coffee in the morning, and I love the sound of no one talking while I drink it.

yeep! well that needs to change unless she’s just doing it for herself and not stopping you from enjoying your coffee.

For my wife it’s iced tea. For me at least 2 cups of coffee, preferably Columbian Supremo.

If she does it right, It gives you a light meal before dinner. Let’s not be too hasty on thinking that this might not be good. Cheers…..

Ah yes, morning coffee, the oh so American method of starting the day, with useless caffeine and little good food to sustain you. The rush about world.

I defiantly miss my days living in Bavaria. A hardy breakfast or Frühstück, cosisting of thinly sliced sausages or meats, cheeses, fruits, often small tomatoes, hearty breads or rolls with butter, honey or jam, little pastries, maybe some yogurt or muesli, and juice or mineral water.

Zweites Frühstück, or mid morning pause to for a light snack to keep you going until lunch.

Mittagessen or lunch is the big meal of the day. Usually 2 hours long both for the working people and the school children. Families would gather at home for this main meal of the day.

The evening supper or Abendbrot is usually a light meal consisting of breads, meats, cheeses, pickles and mustards and is usually eaten later in the evening generally after 6 p.m. It is a light meal to sustain you until bedtime.

Coffee or Kaffee, is popular, but not to the all day long consumption extent as is in the states.

I never could get used to tea, and yet that’s what they serve at practically every luncheon. I’ve had to ask for water because all they had was tea.

I once had afternoon tea at the Savoy in London and can never forget how good it was. The best part was I was not paying for it.
