It’s stupid to memorize dates of things like this. Maybe just the year? Or maybe in reverse would make more sense: “What event occurred on such-and-such a date” ?

Haha! Not a bad comic, really funny, tbh, but Chester is kinda an idiot.

I’m in high school and I be literally never had to memorize a day in history in my whole school career.

Not a big fan of having my student memorize exact dates of events except for very special dates. More important is knowing the facts surrounding the event and significance of the event. The date they can google if they really need it…..

Now tell me Ms. Godfrey isn’t a giant piece of [instert something unpleasant here].

Historians are story tellers. Memorizing dates is the best way to ruin history for kids.

Well this is a pretty good comic and my last review. It is summer so I will be taking a break but I will be back next school year. Bye! also 4/5 pretty good.

It’s actually not a bad way for Chester to learn the dates. He’s associating the events with visual stimuli of the date written out.
