He also worships at the Church of Gaffigan. Every Sunday they take off their shirts to see who’s most prone to sunburn. (Here’s a secret: they all are!) Then they eat baaaaconnn!!!
I haven’t eaten at a fast food chain in years. I really don’t get it. A local deli or pizza place is just as fast, just as cheap, and the food is actually good.
Life consumes life at every level, and animal protein is animal protein. We* eat cows and pigs and chickens, we don’t eat whales and dogs and humans, and the differences are cultural/emotional. I’m not saying the differences aren’t valid nonetheless; ascribing hypocrisy to someone who eats cows but not whales just means that you’re measuring by a different scale than they are. (But it’s okay to eat fish ‘cause they don’t have any feelings; something in the way…)
You don’t hunt whale because you live in an area where you don’t have to. Move up to Alaska, NWT, Nunavut or Greenland and that might be all you eat for a few months. Muktuk can be tasty if prepared properly.

I used to eat fast food several times a week. Stopped a few years ago. Not sure why, but I’m about 30 pounds lighter than I used to be.

Since the price of fast food went up, I make my own or go to a real restaurant. My charred disks are more tasty than theirs and cost way less.

Usually, you can’t lounge around in a pizza joint or a deli waiting for your Connection to show up.

Given my dad’s ancestors, I’m more likely to have pastrami or brisket although my grandmother did love burgers.

“Two All Beef Patties, Special Sauce, Lettuce, Cheese, Pickles, Onions on a Sesame Seed Bun.” I used to like them. Still do, but rarely eat them.
