Up, up, and away, in my beautiful balloon…..

When I first moved to AZ in 1992, I saw a lot of them, when I left in 2021 I never saw them

Hot air balloons: where gas lighting is essential…

Took me a moment…

Rising like lightning, I’m told.

Since the President would ban gas stoves. He would probably ban gas powered Hot-Air balloons too. The answer is to tie a bunch of politicians under the balloon and have them all talk at the same time. That should produce enough Hot-Air to fill any balloon.

News headline where I live in Canada “Police stop truck, recover 140 stolen vehicles”. I was amazed at how they could get that many cars in 1 truck. There were 2 cars that led to a warehouse full of stolen vehicles. Good work by law enforcement.

I thought the balloon fest was in Albuquerque

(unless you took a wrong turn there—heehee)

They are stealing them so they can go down to Albuquerque to the international balloon festival?

October will bring the International Hot Air Balloon Festival back to Albuquerque, NM. The mass ascensions are impressive.

Okay, I got it.

We lived in Bristol, England and could watch the balloons at the International Balloon Festival taking off from a park close to our house. Fascinating.

I laughed out loud yesterday when I heard a report that the Footsie (FTSE) was flat.

Actually, this ain’t no joke. Every year, balloonists’ equipment, and yes, even balloons are stolen here during the Fiesta. Can’t have nothin’…..
