I was wondering that myself.

Hopefully, making it to the surface means they (the others) are out of the twist created by the Topsiders for the experiment they were conducting.

If any of them would know where to run to, it should be Terrance.

But I doubt Marx would have left them if there was much doubt of their escape. By virtue of “observer bias,” this “turn of the wheel” should be special, so one of them will figure it out if Terrance doesn’t already know.

I can’t help but notice that “Endtown” is appearing more often than it had been. Take it easy, Mr. Neathery, don’t exhaust yourself.

Ya know, I often ask myself that.

I’m thinking the water drop- where it makes a divot and then everything right in the middle shoots back up- when the twist unwraps they get thrown into the air…

I don’t know what’s going on in this story anymore. Everything stopped making sense when the whole cardoodle plot was introduced.

So, there isn’t a disease anymore but they are actually mixing themselves with cartoons. Okay, then what’s the plan now? They can’t cure “cartoons” or anything of the sort. But the cartoons are also ultra mega realistic and can be killed and eaten as real animals like what was happening in Endtown (you know, the town that gave this comic its name and it’s nowhere to be seen or mentioned again for a long time now)?

Wally is a “main character” now in a 4th wall sense of the word, however, he’s dead but not really. That’s Cracked cat now but now really.

What even happened to Duffy’s brother? He saw Duffy, then ran away, and then when Duffy saw “him”, it wasn’t really him.

This story has become a salad of ideas and I’m having increasingly difficulty to follow what’s the end goal here.
