You know that when he borrowed daddy’s Corvette that he walked by that folder of years old classified documents in the garage. Yet the Trump DOJ AAG said nothing about it. Sheesh, it pays to be connected!

It’s definitely a molehill. They are cooperative, where Trumplethinskin lied, deflected, and projected.

For anyone else, they would lose their 2 Amendment right, pay a hefty fine and get some jail time! I never have heard of someone getting probation for a firearm felony.

You don’t think that’s a super sweet deal? Go ahead and not file next year and not pay your taxes. Do you think the IRS will just say " Thats OK Clay, just file and pay the tax. No fines or penalties or audits for you."

No way they were going to anything more than a light slap on the wrist for the sitting president’s son. Maybe if he wasn’t a dem. But willfully not declaring millions in income and not paying taxes on that income and evading the IRS for any period of time would land any of us in prison. Lying on the federal gun application has put many people behind bars, but not the connected elite. They put some lower level pol (republican, I believe…can’t remember his name) in Rikers for 3 months for not declaring some perks he received and didn’t declare them on his taxes. We do not an equal justice system nor is the application of the law equal.

GOP waste more time, energy, and tax dollars for revenge, instead of focusing on important matters of the country! They deflect, twist and create more problems…

What a pos party! Useless and no brains! THEY need to be investigated for not doing their duties as elected officials…the set back congress 20 years with their useless investigations…..there’s probably over 500 bills sitting on the shelf that need attention but they continue to waste time on non issues.

News flash: when people don’t try to actively impede DOJ investigations, cooperate, they get lighter sentences.

So Hunter Biden gets charged with tax evasion and a firearms violation. And for these he pled out, received a low sentence and gets on with his life. He doesn’t do any more than what thousands of others do through the justice system, Dems or Repubs.

The Repubs want Biden to suffer like their ordained leader, Dump, but the latter has 37 counts on his indictment, not 2. But, of course, Hunter is probably a Dem and we all know Dems are so much more evil, not anything like Sir Dump, the lying king, whose earthly position is next to god. s/ So, naturally, the Repub House will have to launch more investigations into Hunter and his nefarious connection with Joe, his father, all during the campaign season. Nothing political there.

Hmm… So the GQP says that Hunter got a plea deal. Just like thousands of others in the USofA every single week. Even if he was still using drugs (and I would be curious to see the results of his tests vs Junior’s given recent photos) he made a deal 99% of America would yawn at for what he is accused of. And make no mistake about it, his deal was not for stealing food to feed his family or money to pay the rent. Neither was it for the violent seditionist insurrection nor for the grifting & graft of TFG. Nor was it for sexual assault (a crime of violence). Nor was it for illegally trying to influence an election.

So as bad as it was, stop the BS about trying to compare apples and oranges. Remember that TFG said that “smart people cheat on their taxes” And remember that Hunter never worked in the WH nor was he a sitting resident or an ex-resident when he did what he pled to which is very very much unlike TFG

When the goons at Fancy But Incompetent redact more than half of the content of the documents they’re subpoena’d for, you get a slap on the wrist for crimes that others are languishing in prison for right now.

The DOJ has the evidence and he has taken a plea deal, owning up to what he did. Normal stuff. No one among the R’s has evidence of anything more. They have smears, and tell lies, but if they actually had EVIDENCE they would be showing it to everyone, showing it on every Fox show, printing it in every paper, buying full page ads and hour long “documentaries” on TV, but, no, all they have is trying to distract from the actual charges against their dear leader, you know the charges he admits to every time he is interviewed on Fox rumors.

He pleaded guilty. Open and shut. He knew he did wrong, owned up to it, and is accepting his punishment like a real man should. Yeah, he’s thick in the head, but I have a large amount of respect for people who own up to their faults.

The retrumpliqons say that Hunter Biden’s “sweetheart deal” is proof of a 2-tier justice system. Of course there are, or else tRump would be sitting in a jail cell awaiting his trial, alongside Jack Texeira.

He likely wouldn’t have been prosecuted at all if his name was “Biden.”

For those of you who are mad at him getting off light (in your view), note that the prosecutor was a Trump appointee, as is the judge.
