I feel particularly sorry for the kid who was trying to placate his dad when he died for his dad’s hubris.

Nope. Those five will not be invited in. They were disrespectful to a gravesite. No respect, no sympathy.

I suspect it was more about chasing the buck.

What makes people do dangerous things!? The thrill of it all? I guess when you have the funds to do anything you crave in life, you’re more daring. So sad.

Meanwhile, hundreds of refugees drown when their boat sinks. No big deal. Not a big news story. They weren’t wealthy members of the Titanic Cult.

The Titanic added five more lives to the already 1,500 plus. Beware, the curse of the Titanic!

And the same week how many lives were shot down on the streets of Chicago? Or how many lives were lost to the the tornadoes in the south? Yes, it is sad, but at least those five made the decision to risk their lives. I would rather the news would remember the common man’s life, not some rich person’s.

It ain’t all bad, somewhere, there’s a woman, who’s now a very wealthy woman. Very wealthy, indeed. I could give her a ring, offer my condolences, maybe a shoulder to cry on?

I’m not a dirty bugger! I’m sensitive to the needs of women.

It’s interesting that the other wealthy boarders of the Titanic were also, like those of the Titan, thrill seekers. It’s just too bad the others deep down in the lower decks, who were immigrating to America for a better life, also had to die.

“Hubris” is a word we don’t see very often, and when we do it’s always tragic. Aristotle was right after all. Who’d have thought it?

The game controller was the most tested part.

Of course, Titanic was one of THREE ships. The others sailed successfully, one was scrapped and the other lost to enemy action.

Since the Titanic submersible adventure is over for now maybe a low earth orbit space flight will have to do. You should buy another race team too, or a stadium
