The strip has taken a radical shift from last year. Last year it was guys getting loaded at the ceremony. In a totally unexpected attack on sexism this year the women get sloshed.

In tomorrow’s strip, the women will be making out in the coat check room.

Was Erika invited to the COTY event? Is she sitting at the Thorp table? Is Jami going to participate in a sport, any sport? Jami from 15 years ago at least played little league and we were introduced to Brent Raptor.

I got nothing, except- a termite walks into a bar and asks, where is the bar tender?

I’m having a hard time articulating just how much I despise this storyline. The Luke Martinez buffoonery was bad enough, but to tear down Mimi like this ad a bad mother cheating in front of her kids is enough perhaps for this strip to become as dead to me as Mark Trail. We will soon see.

Is that Beth? She changed her hair. I guess it has been a year though. She looks píssed. She waited a whole year for another shot at Gil and finds out that Mimi showed up.

And maybe it’s just me, but it seems a bit concerning when you win a major award and your wife brings a date to the ceremony. And speaking of dates, you should plan on making a date with Mopped Up Thorp. (Well that was a weird segue.)
