Swamp thing. I think I love you.

That is the first swamp I seen that looks like it could be mistaken for a dry desert sand dune.

Q: Has anyone ever see this TORTOISE in a swamp scene? I thought he was a desert tortoise. Certainly seems to live in one.

It looks like July, but it feels like marsh.

Since when? With all the sand, rocks and the ocean you’re a freaking tourtise. That “squish” was definately suspicious.

You pick up all sorts of things in a swamp.

My dog and I recently were caught in a very heavy rainstorm outside. When we got home, I tried to convince her she could shake the water off outside. She just stood there. I ran my hands firmly over all her fur and sort of wrung her out like an old dishrag, but not with too much pressure. As soon as we got indoors, she shook the rest off. I can’t win. I need to leave a towel on the porch when it is or might start raining.
