Personally, I love the use of “shoveth” in panel 2. And the expression of deranged glee is great!

Considering Wallace just okayed the shove he still looked a bit surprised. Spud does not need any help in this though, thank you very much. He falls off the pier often enough and frequently in rather spectacular style.

Spud generally requires no assistance in the falling off the dock of the bay dept.

The expressions on Seagull and the fish gave me a chuckle.

The push is the fun part – it’s still like a surprise!

Marcy didn’t ask the boy SHE pushed off the dock! (Peanuts). He didn’t deserve to be asked, tho!!

I mean, might as well, Spud, you were going to end up falling off the pier yourself eventually anyway, so might as well just cut to the chase and get it over with.

Spud falls off the dock all the time; he doesn’t need help.

That’s funny. I was perturbed when my uncle offered to toss his kids + me into the water we were swimming in (he’’d take a foot in his hand and lift)—by the time I realized it was fun, he was tired and wouldn’t continue.

Remember, kids – NEVER dive in unfamiliar places. Hitting your head or breaking your neck because you were not aware of depth or debris is a very real and very serious threat.
