Oh great, a jealous ex.
Reminds me of that rock song “Escape” by Rupert Holmes
If you like Piña Coladas…
Didn’t think Brewster was one for open relationships.
Go ahead Brewster, keep hurting the poor fella’s feelings.
(Heartless monster)
Will they ever get back to hating each other?
I’m reminded of when Perry the Platypus caught Dr. Doofenshmitrz with Peter the Panda.
Just who is the evil villain here?
Kiss and make up. You know you want to.
“Thwarting my evil plans isn’t enough for you anymore… I… I feel so used. I’m leaving you and going home to mother.”
How to lose a nemesis in 10 days.
“I just like to fight around”
I think I saw the movie on Hallmark
so, Dirk likes a bit of rope in the game and Brewster not so much . . . .
but it’s such a classic villain move!
Reminds me of that Lego Batman movie where the Joker is so concerned about their relationship.
Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century, had this same problem. He found out he was not even on Marvin the Martians top 10 villain list. He was just a minor annoyance. Now that can hurt your ego.
Or Batman and The Joker in The Lego Batman movie. He likes “to fight around.”
So, Dirk, ask Brewster if he prefers being tied up.
Another Hate-Love relationship…
“Well, fine! I don’t want to be your enemy either!”
“Now, don’t be like that, we can still be… uh…”
“What?”
“Frenemies?”
“Can’t we just stay ‘frenemies’?”
“Oh sure, just toss me aside like a used condom.”
“’Cause I’m as free as a bird now
And this bird you cannot change…"
I don’t blame you Brewski, the relationship was getting a little stale.
Brewster should have told Dirk that he’s just moved on and Dirk should too.
Brewster should stick with Dirk. They were made for each other.
This current sequence of strips is really clever and funny IMO. And I say that as a very big fan of Mr Rickard’s work.
There will always be a place for Dirk on the RU Sirius. Namely the brig.
