Thanks for the link to the original comic. Now I understand why so many “:grown-ups” were against comics. The stories are silly to an adult, but not so much for kids. And when you get down to it, some of the wartime movies for adults were silly — or at least unrealistic, too.

While the lead story about the cannon with a 4000 mile range was definitely comic book material, only a year later, the V-2s were flying and plans for intercontinental rockets being made.

I did like how the artist in the lead story used shadows, like the shadow of the hero on a pssing shell.

And your version is what we expect from Last Kiss! Funny!
