Interesting ow much movement and how well illustrated a good cartooning can work in. Like “Calvin and Hobbes”’s dance sequences.(How should that be punctuated?)
There is an alleged “disembodied” hand in Leonardo’s painting of “The Last Supper.” It has been argued over the centuries to belong to one of two or three of the disciples. Could it belong to Thing of the Addams Family?
Is there a similarly unattached hand floating amid the onrushing horde in the antepenultimate panel in today’s “Wallace”? Right behind Amelia’s chignon during its escape attempt? Or am I imagining ***things*** ? And is that another reference to the Addams Family?
I guess my actual question is “Whose hand is it?” (In this strip, that is….)
And if you want to consider a REALLY bonkers alleged controversy, is that John or Mary in TLS?
I love so much about this: Seagull (and Rose!) among of the bloodthirsty onrushing horde. Amelia leading the charge. And Spud totally unconcerned about getting his shoes knocked off because he got to dance in the end zone.
Once in practice I was dazed by the heat. At linebacker. Got cole cocked by a 230 pound lineman. After I stopped bouncing one of the coaches said I’d better get my mind in the game. Yep.

This is why we have refs to throw flags for excessive celebrations. So Amelia can kill it chasing the ball.

No doubt some football players practice as long, if not longer, than you guys do just to get that just right “impromptu” dance……

Once again, Spud show some coolness. Wallace always is cool. Ha, its the only reason he plays,

Fits the definition of “excessive, prolonged, and/or choreographed touchdown celebration. 15 yard penalty on kickoff

Trying to read the “make it rhyme” panel in a tune. Thinking something that starts down low and ends in a higher register.

They should play something safer, like Calvinball.

Hey, everybody. Check out today’s “Big Nate.” I just have to believe that the seagull in the opening panel is a nod to Wallace’s friend Seagull.
