Jeff and I used to marvel that Gary kept asking girls out, even though he kept getting ‘no’ for an answer… On the other hand there were enough saying yes that he dated more girls than Jeff and I put together. Some people can handle rejection better than others.

Guys have no idea how many girls wanted to be asked to a dance but weren’t. I was a good athlete in high school and university, so most guys wouldn’t ask me because they were intimidated. If only they knew how much I wanted them to ask me for a dance or a date..

I always felt that Heart and Dean would be so close nobody else even tried to wedge in there. Not sure I like them having other crushes.

I felt that way all the way through high school. I could only see the 5’5" chubby kid, not the 6’2" slender kid.
