At 1,500 years old, Broomie will be a very sad witch. Everyone else will die before she does.

This is hard to bear

I have outlived a number of pets in my time, but so far, have not had any pets outlive me.

actually, i think it is sadder when a pet outlives their owner.

Say it isn’t so, don’t let anything happen to Clive.

It’s worse the other way. Either you or that dog is going to be mourning, and you’re the dog’s whole world.

Clive is a witch bear; he will live for a long time yet.

But yes, she will outlive you. She could have had over 100 dogs!

Clive is more sensitive than the average bear.

Some pets will outlive their owners. Those pets eat up that affection too. Take Alligators for instance …

It’s worse when the pet outlives the owner.

It’s inevitable; bears don’t live past 1000.
