the summer of ’23 is a burner everywhere

Getting a stone-work patio installed. It’s scheduled for next week 40C (100+F), but they might start today (30C/80+F). I hope so.

Gunther, in this heat you don’t lay on a tree, you lay under a tree instead…!

There’s vegging and then there’s being a veg under the heat.

Up here in Ottawa, Canada, the summer heat is over, high temps in the low 70s F.

It’s been OK in the Northwest. But next week is our turn in the barrel. 90-100. Which is not as dramatic as some places, but still no fun.

It’s supposed to be, and always was hot ot west and down south. That’s how it works.

It’s a Logic Trap, Gunther. If you have to do what you always choose to do, it’s no longer by your choice. No fun in that!
