SIXTY BUCKS?!And they knew it was wrong early on??I’d be tempted to say ok, I’ll go around showing this and telling everyone to stay away from your salon!
I think I would have refused to let them do the other nails, throw those 6 bucks to the floor if they dared to charge me anything (that’s the beauty of cash!) and stormed out of that scam cave while giving them a good piece of my mind (nothing that would cause me any trouble, of course) loud enough that everyone with the ability to hear would have registered that. Several blocks around.
But as nice as you are, you probably even tipped them. Minimal, but still.
I definitely would not just pay and walk away without telling the (social media) world what they did. That’s just wrong. How difficult would it have been for them to just remove the color on the first nail?
So much for customer service. Give a bad review and find another place. Though it may be harder where you are. Here they are on every corner and strip mall. Kinda like a certain coffee place.
You should buy your own polish and take it to the nail salon. Most places don’t mind you bringing your own. I just got my pedicure a little over a week ago and I had a color I saw on FB and bought. They were fine with me bringing it.
I’d be upset. I’d make sure that they know I plan to boycott them and inform my friends that I was charged so much without the courtesy of using the colour I chose. Any neuro divergent people would be triggered by this.
I rarely if ever paint my fingernails myself, and if I am not mistaken, this was my first “professional” manicure ever. (And the price is high because we live in the Bakken Oil Region and pay a premium for everything. A simple ranch-style home? Half a million dollars, but no mineral rights. It’s weird here.)

It could be worse considering some of the designs that some people wear today.

Aaaacckk! Who charges $60.00? If it was a natural mani, that’s a rip off..should have pulled your hands away and gone to the desk…☹️
If they charge $60.00 for a mani what, pre tell do they charge for a pedi?
Last time I paid $30.00, which included a $5.00 tip
